Bio: 

David Browde is a solo practitioner, who in 2004 moved his law office from lower Manhattan to Westchester County. His practice focuses on solving problems for clients. "I try to bring a practical approach to the issues facing clients." he says, "Particularly in divorce cases, emotions run high. Dealing with the emotions is important, but it's every bit as important to remember the goal: getting through the divorce process with your dignity and your finances intact. If there are children involved, one has to be even more sensitive to the problems, and the creative solutions that are critical to helping a client through this very difficult time in their lives."

David is a graduate of Fordham University Law School, where he also served as Writing and Research editor of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal.

David holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell University (B.A., Government & Philosophy - 1972).

He has written on a variety of legal topics, including First Amendment issues, authoring "Warning: Wearing Eyeglasses May Subject You to Additional Liability and other Foibles of Post-Diana Newsgathering - An Analysis of California's Civil Code Section 1708.8" 10 Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal 697 (2000). He has also written on a variety of topics for American Lawyer Media's publications.

David has a "Superb" rating from the website AVVO and in November 2013 was recognized with the Lead Counsel rating by Thompson Reuters' leadcounsel.org website.

David is a Trustee of the AFTRA Health and Retirement Funds and serves on its Investment and Merger Committees.
