On June 15, 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a landmark decision extending employment discrimination protections to LGBTQ employees across the country. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination in the workplace on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
