 GERALD GROUP is one of the oldest and world’s largest commodity trading company focused purely on the merchanting of non-ferrous, ferrous and precious metals, as well as related concentrates and raw materials and is seeking a Mandarin speaking Attorney to join its team.
Position Summary:
Opportunity for a junior to mid-level attorney with commercial litigation, contracts and general corporate transaction experience.
 
Responsibilities: 

Assist in corporate litigation

•     Familiarity with commercial agreements

Assist in regulatory issues

 
Requirements:
 

3-6 year and prior in-house experience preferred
Must be licensed to practice in New York or Connecticut and/or registered as in-house counsel in Connecticut
Financial services background preferred
Fluency in the Mandarin Chinese language required

Ability to work independently and as part of a transaction team
