Harwood Lloyd, LLC, a mid-sized law firm in Hackensack, NJ, consisting of 35+ attorneys, seeks an experienced Director of Finance whose responsibilities include:All aspects of financial management including, but not limited to: overseeing and managing day-to-day accounting operations, forecasting/budgeting, variance and profitability analysis, financial reporting, general ledger, time entry and billing, collections, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts/disbursements, cash flow control, trust accounting, equity partner distributions, monthly/annual closings, coordinating the financial statement review and Firm tax returns in conjunction with an external accounting firm, maintaining of internal controls, administering the 401(k)/profit sharing plan and managing the finance department staff.A high level of attention to detail is required, as well as strong management and interpersonal skills with a customer service oriented approach.Qualifications at least 10 years of accounting/finance experience and recent law firm employment. A CPA and/or MBA degree is desirable.
