Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant

Middlebury, CT law firm seeks full-time legal secretary/administrative assistant to join our team serving an outstanding client base throughout New England and New York.
You must have at least 2 years of experience in a civil litigation-focused law firm, be extremely detail oriented, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities will include preparing correspondence and pleadings, transcribing electronic dictation, e-filing in state and federal courts, scanning, scheduling appointments, maintaining the firm’s and attorneys’ calendars, processing incoming and outgoing mail and other deliveries, and running office errands as needed but infrequently.  You should be proficient with Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat DC, and know how to electronically file in state and federal court.  If you have experience with Clio or a similar cloud-based practice management platform, it will be a strong plus.
