Duane Morris LLP seeks a commercial finance associate to join its strong and growing190+ lawyer Corporate Practice Group, ideally in its Chicago office. The preferred candidate has 5-6 years of solid and meaningful experience in one or more of the areas of acquisition financing (leverage finance), agented syndicated secured financings (cash flow or asset based), and health care financings, with a working knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC. Background/experience in intercreditor and subordination agreements; real estate finance, a plus. Candidate should have strong drafting and negotiating skills, a desire for client contact and doing deals, opportunity to work directly with the Practice Group Chair and have an outgoing and engaging personality. A strong academic background is required as well as meaningful law firm experience on sophisticated transactional matters. Large law firm or commercial finance boutique experience preferred.
