The Chicago office’s Banking & Finance practice seeks two associates from class years, 2009 - 2013 to support the structured finance and/or leveraged finance practices.

Successful candidates will have solid experience as a deal-lawyer representing lenders, borrowers, issuers and/or underwriters. Experience and knowledge of asset-backed loans, secured and unsecured corporate finance transactions, purchases and sales of financial assets. Experience with transactions using special purpose entities to isolate financed assets from the originator’s or sponsor’s bankruptcy and credit risk (secured and unsecured lending transactions, such as acquisition financings, asset based loans, trade finance, first/second lien transactions, subordinated debt, bridge loans, letter of credit facilities, subscription financings and other complex domestic and cross-border syndicated and bi-lateral financings).
