The Government and Regulatory Affairs practice group seeks to hire an associate with 2-5 years of experience to reside in the Washington, D.C. office to be part of the firm’s Education Law Team. Responsibilities include working with educational institutions, private equity and other investment firms, and companies that provide support services to educational institutions on federal regulatory compliance, accreditation, and state educational licensing matters; assisting with transactions involving educational institutions; providing advice regarding compliance reviews and audits by the U.S. Department of Education and other governmental authorities; and advising clients on emerging developments in federal education law and policy. A substantive background in the legal and regulatory issues pertaining to higher education, while not required, is highly preferred.
