Employment Litigation Associate at Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Atlanta, GA)

Summary of Position:

Our Atlanta office has an opportunity for an experienced associate to join the firm’s expanding practice. Primary job duties would involve employment litigation, responding to agency charges, non-competition/unfair business practices litigation, and providing routine HR and compliance advice to companies. In addition, the position may include traditional labor relations work like union avoidance, labor litigation and arbitration hearings.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of employment. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
  • Candidates should possess at least 2 - 5 years of litigation experience, including experience with discovery and motions practice; labor and employment experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Human Resources/Management is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and initiative are imperative.
  • Must be licensed to practice in Georgia.
  • Exceptional Academic Record.
