Job Description:

Cooley has an opportunity in its Palo Alto office to join its preeminent, nationally recognized Life Sciences Corporate Partnering & Licensing practice. Associates with a 2 to 6 years of significant experience representing life sciences companies in the structuring, negotiation and drafting of license, collaboration, co-development, clinical trial, manufacture/supply and other similar commercial agreements, in either a private law firm or in-house position, are encouraged to apply. Corporate experience is a plus. Equivalent experience representing life sciences companies in heavily negotiated business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions would be an acceptable substitute. Technical degree in biology, biochemistry or chemistry and/or knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical device industries would be helpful but is not required as long as the applicant is eager to learn the technology and industry matters applicable to Life Science deals and is not intimidated by technical terms or concepts.
