Responsibilities

Patton Boggs, a general practice firm centered in Washington, D.C., is accepting resumes for the position of Technical Writer, Patent Agent or Patent Associate for their Washington, D.C. Office. The ideal candidate will possess:

Degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, an advance degree in Molecular Biology, or physics;
Patent examination experience at the US Patent and Trademark Office or 1-4 years' experience in preparation and prosecution of patent applications.
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities will include patent application preparation and prosecution, conducting prior art searches, litigation and licensing support as well as other patent related projects.
