Boston-based firm seeking Of Counsel or Partner with extensive background in health care law, health insurance, and managed care. Typical clients would include hospitals, physician practices and physician based entities, ancillary services providers, HMOs, imaging services providers, ambulatory care facilities, pharmacy providers, long term care facilities, and managed care organizations. The candidate should have experience assisting healthcare providers to create business and legal value in all types of situations, whether transactional or regulatory. The candidate should also have a background in hospital and other provider acquisitions and affiliations, joint ventures involving for profit and tax exempt organizations and physician owned entities, joint ventures and/or joint operating agreements between nonprofit, tax exempt health systems and various hospital/physician contractual arrangements. Book of business preferable, but not required. The candidates should also be frequent presenters and active in the health care/life sciences community.
