E-Billing Analyst

As our firm continues to grow, so does our need for qualified talent. We are seeking an E-Billing Analyst to join our Central Administration team based in DC. The person who fills this role will assist with coordinating all aspects of the firm’s e-billing processes, including transmission and problem resolution.
While not inclusive of all position responsibilities related to the role, specific responsibilities include:• Prepares electronic bills and submits to clients.• Liaisons with e-billing vendors for maintenance and troubleshooting.• Submits timekeeper rates for approval as needed.• Tracks status of bills submitted, identifies issues, and works with colleagues to address rejections and deductions.• Communicates within the firm, with clients, and with electronic billing service providers.• Responds to attorney, secretary, and CSR questions related to time entry, bill processing and client payments.• Collects and posts activity in difficult cases, adjusts errors and addresses complaints with management.• Assists in the review of delinquent account balances for accuracy and follow-up.
We require a four-year degree in accounting or business; four years of related experience, preferably in legal billing, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with e-billing systems, including eBillingHub, Professional Services/Law Firm Accounting Systems, and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Experience in SQL, Access or Crystal Reports is a plus.
