Peckar & Abramson, a prominent national law firm, is currently seeking two associates for its construction dispute resolution department in its River Edge, NJ office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with a strong litigation background to take a prominent role in litigation matters, and to gain experience in construction law.
For the first position, interested candidates should have strong academic credentials, with 3-5 years of commercial litigation and must be admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts in both New Jersey and New York. Construction litigation and alternative dispute resolution experience is a plus. The successful candidate must also have strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, and must be a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a litigation team.
The Second position, as a Senior Associate, interested candidates should have strong academic credentials, with 6-8 years of construction litigation experience and must be admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts in both New Jersey and New York. The successful candidate must also have strong research, writing, deposition, oral advocacy skills, and must be a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as well be a leader or a senior contributor to a litigation team.
