Corporate Paralegal

Hackensack Meridian Health is supported by a dedicated group of advocates in the form of our Legal Services Department. This Corporate Paralegal position will allow you to apply your skills within the Legal Services Department in tasks ranging from contract review to corporate filings. This position will allow you to further develop your skills while building your career within New Jersey's premier healthcare system" Assisting with real estate matters and the review, construction, revision and negotiation of vendor agreements and information technology agreements." Preparing corporate documents for a Hackensack Meridian entity including corporate governance documents (for example, certificates of incorporation or formation, bylaws, resolutions, meeting minutes, alternate name certificates), service mark and trademark applications, and Uniform Commercial Code filings." Filing corporate documents such as annual reports and tax documents" Assisting with the administration of the on-line contract management system." Monitoring news releases, and other regulatory developments such as OIG Advisory Opinions and Statutory Updates." Current and valid Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience is required" Associates or Bachelor's degree is required" A minimum of 3 years of relevant paralegal experience is required" Must have real estate experience" Critical thinking skills are essential" The ability to read and comprehend legal contracts and perform standardized edits is a core requirement" The ability to learn quickly and adapt to a high volume and fast-paced environment is required
