Robinson+Cole, an AmLaw 200 firm, seeks an associate with six to seven years of intellectual property and technology transaction and trademark and copyright prosecution experience to join its Intellectual Property and Technology Law Practice Group. 
We are looking for a candidate with significant experience on:

Trademark and copyright prosecution, counseling and enforcement matters including prosecuting, maintaining and enforcing trademark and copyright applications and registrations, counseling on brand management and copyright protection matters, assisting with resolution of ownership rights and disputes, advising on the establishment of trade secretprograms, and counseling clients on packaging, labeling, promotional and advertising matters.
A range of intellectual property and technology transactional matters, including structuring, drafting, revising, and negotiating a wide variety of agreements related to intellectual property andtechnology including license agreements, research and development agreements, strategic alliance agreements, maintenance, support and other service agreements, and other intellectual property and technology agreements. The candidate will also assist on intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.

Candidates will be located in Hartford, CT or New York, NY.  Candidates should have: superior academic credentials; excellent writing and analytical skills; hard-working and a self-starter with excellent attention to detail; and 6 - 7 years of law firm experience.  Admission to the bar in the state of residence is required.
