PUBLIC NOTICEREAPPOINTMENT OF TWO BANKRUPTCY JUDGESThe current 14-year term of office for two U.S. Bankruptcy Judges for the District of Delaware are due to expire. Chief Judge Christopher S. Sontchi’s term is due to expire onFebruary 22, 2020. Judge Brendan L. Shannon’s term expires on March 12, 2020.
The United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit is considering the reappointment of these Judges to a new 14-year term of office. Members of the bar and the public are invited to submit comments for consideration by the Court of Appeals regarding the reappointments of both Chief Judge Sontchi and Judge Shannon.
