Associate Attorney
Litchfield Cavo seeks a well-rounded, highly-motivated, experienced civil litigation attorney for its Atlanta, GA office. This is an exceptional opportunity for the candidate to handle all aspects of the litigation process under the direction of a partner; prepare / handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, legal research and court appearances and review, assess and handle matters from inception to trial.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
A successful candidate will have the ability to work proactively, independently and demonstrate strong analytical, writing, research and communication skills and an eagerness to learn.
 
To successfully perform this job an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability necessary to do this job.
 
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

A 3rd to 6th year licensed attorney with general litigation, premises or product liability experience
Taken and defended depositions of parties and experts
Experienced with trial prep
Experienced drafting and responding to written discovery and dispositive motions
Ability to move from case to case and multi-task
Computer proficiency including MS Office including Excel, Outlook and proficient skills navigating the Internet
Licensed to practice law in Georgia
