IP Associate – Trademarks/Copyright

Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, a global law firm with 44 offices, in 19 countries is seeking a junior-level IP associate with trademark experience for our San Francisco office to join its sophisticated global intellectual property practice.

Candidates should have 1-2 years’ experience in domestic and international trademark, copyright and business-related intellectual property matters. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in advising clients on domestic and foreign trademark clearance and registration, enforcement, portfolio management, strategic branding advice, and copyright law.  Experience in the following other areas is preferred:  technology and non-technology licensing and other IP-related transactions, e-commerce, data protection and privacy, publishing, media and entertainment, sweepstakes and contests, technology and IP transfers, and general IP counseling.

Qualified candidates must possess excellent academic credentials, superior writing,communication and analytical skills.  The candidate must possess a J.D.and be licensed to practice in the State of California.
