Great opportunity for an IP attorney with 7-10 years of experience! Milwaukee area company needs an experienced IP attorney to manage its patent process. Attorney will work with engineers to manage pipeline of new products through patent process. Attorney will perform freedom-to-operate (FTO) risk analysis and take appropriate action. Role will involve interfacing with engineering department and acting as a liaison between engineering department and outside counsel. The role does not involve patent prosecution.
Candidate should have strong IP experienced focused on manufactured products.
Engagement is full-time, long-term temporary with potential to become permanent.
Work can be performed remotely. Ability to be on site periodically is preferred.
