The County Counsel's Office is recruiting for Deputy County Counsel III General Advisory Attorney and Deputy County Counsel IV General Advisory Attorney. County Counsel Deputiespractice in a variety of civil law areas and assignments which may include: eminent domain; public entity liability; environmental/land use; workers compensation; taxation; juvenile, guardianship and conservatorship; appeals; arbitration/mediation; contract; business; transactional; procurement; technology; employment; civil rights; torts; personal injury; real estate and construction and administrative law proceedings.
 
Minimum Requirement
Deputy County Counsel III General Advisory Attorney
License: Active membership and in good standing with the State Bar of California.-AND-Experience: Thirty (30) months of full-time civil law work experience as an attorney OR four (4) years of criminal trial experience as an attorney. (Law Clerk, Intern and Volunteer Attorney experience is not qualifying).
 
Deputy County Counsel IV General Advisory Attorney
License: Active membership and in good standing with the State Bar of California.-AND-Experience: Four (4) years of full-time civil law experience as an attorney (Law Clerk, Intern and Volunteer Attorney experience is not qualifying).
