Busy Midtown law firm seeks experienced real estate attorney for great temporary assignment. Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of real estate litigation experience including drafting orders to show cause, affidavits and memorandums of law, attending court conferences, and arguing cases in court. Attorney should also have experience taking/defending depositions, propounding/responding to discovery requests and drafting/reviewing construction contracts.
Outstanding interpersonal skills are required (down to earth, easygoing, and able to take criticism) as are excellent writing skills. Attorneys must be admitted to the New York bar and have familiarity with the NY State court system.
