Senior Legal Assistant

Coordinating with clients and visiting or online notary to sign documents. (Our clients are across the U.S. You will be printing, flagging and mailing hard copies of documents with instruction cover letter to clients.)
Proof reading documents for quality control before they go out to clients. (Ensuring dates are correct, client names are correct, addresses are correct, notary acknowledgment reflects the state and county where the document will actually be notarized in.)
Getting documents back. Scanning and saving them. Assembling hard copies into binders.
Coordinating information sharing with client's CPA and other advisors.
Sharing scanned documents with clients, CPA and other advisors.
Creating "blueprints" of the legal plan using online software.
Using Clio.com (law firm practice management), Lawyaw.com (for document preparation), notarize.com (for online notaries), docusign.com (for electronic signatures if needed).
Assisting in asset transfers. Coordinating with deeds.com to get deeds prepared, signed and recorded to transfer real property to appropriate entity.
Filing LLC Operating Agreement with Arizona Corporation Commission. Filing Certificate of Limited Partnership with Arizona Secretary of State.
Touching base with clients periodically to see if they have questions, and also to remind them to do loose ends (like sending up signed documents, transferring bank accounts, etc.). This requires you to keep track of tasks.
