Legalpeople is seeking a licensed attorney with corporate experience for a temporary position with a regional firm in downtown Atlanta.  The firm is currently working remotely, but practice groups may start to return to the office in phases within the next several weeks.
 
Qualifications:

An active law license in good standing is required.
5+ years corporate M&A experience is preferred.  3+ years is acceptable with demonstrated expertise.
Deal experience should be for non-public company mergers and acquisitions and private equity work.
Ideally, candidate would have private company securities experience (e.g. private placements).
Assignment could be temp-to-perm based on firm needs and candidate performance.
While the position is primarily intended to support other team members, some client contact should be expected.
Health care transactional experience would be a plus, but it is not a must.

 
Pay rate is commensurate with experience.
