Summary Taconic Partners (“Taconic”) is seeking to hire an in-house Landlord Tenant attorney for its residential portfolio located in the Bronx. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the legal and collection functions for a diversified portfolio of residential properties. The position will be a key member of the residential operations team, will be based in the Bronx at 3480 Seymour Avenue and will report to two Vice Presidents of Asset Management.  https://taconicpartners.com/, https://eastchesterheights.com/, https://www.qualitycommunities.com/ Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the legal and collection functions for 1,900 units for two major residential properties in the Bronx Represent Owner in Court proceedings Hire, train, manage and motivate a collections/paralegal team Develop and maintain a standardized monthly status report for each property Oversee other property-level legal work Required Experience and Qualifications 2 to 4 years of experience handling residential landlord tenant matters Knowledge of and experience in New York City Housing Court, Bronx preferred In good standing with the New York State Bar Bachelor’s degree and law degree Proficient in eCourts, Westlaw and Lexis Nexis Desired Experience and Traits Trial experience Experience managing a small team Ability to handle an active caseload and to evaluate, negotiate and resolve cases Collaborative personal/professional style that advances a collegial partnered approach to meeting team objectives Well-organized; strong and self-motivated; strong work ethic; good administrative skills; attention to detail Please send your email and cover letter to residential-recruiting@tacon.com with subject Landlord Tenant Attorney
