Former G&S client founded boutique firm with former colleague, and due to practice growth over the past six months, they now seek to add a second associate to their team. The ideal profile is an entrepreneurial-minded labor & employment associate with 1 – 3 years’ experience who can represent management in a wide range of labor & employment compliance counseling matters, as well as, in litigation and investigations. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many pressive issues relate to advising clients on reductions in force, the Fair Labor Standards Act, medical inquiries and examinations, Emergency FMLA Expansion Act, Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, etc. A number of the firm’s clients are government contractors, so you will gain exposure to and assist on contract review, appeals, small business analysis, etc., further diversifying your practice into this very marketable practice area in the DMV. *Unique opportunity to work closely with two partners invested in your training and success in an environment that offers a predictable work/life balance with an incentive-based compensation structure.
