The Partners Group is assisting the City of Atlanta in its search for an Inspector General to lead and develop the newly created Office of Inspector General. Candidates must have experience leading and monitoring a comprehensive criminal or investigative program involving broad and complex issues of fraud, waste, corruption and/or misconduct in the a government environment is required, along with being an active member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia (or eligible to become licensed in Georgia). Candidates must also have 8+ years of leading a compliance program that develops, implements and ensures compliance with investigative policy and procedures. The hired Inspector General will be tasked to: hire and direct a team to support the mission of the Office of Inspector General; build and develop a comprehensive compliance program; oversee and coordinate investigations; develop and review policies to detect and prevent fraud, waste and abuse; create and manage plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations; set policy and program standards; and provide expert legal advice and guidance. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to foster strategic change, and must possess a natural aptitude in leadership and relationship building.
