Courts Of Common Pleas- Judicial Vacancies

There are currently openings for interim judicial positions resulting from the election process, resignations and/or retirements.
Due to his commitment to making government more transparent and open to the people of the Commonwealth, Governor Tom Wolf recently issued an Executive Order creating a Judicial Advisory Commission to assist him in appointments for these positions.
The process for filling interim vacancies for Pennsylvania judges is, by design, careful and deliberate. Applicants will be required to complete an application ("Application for Judicial Appointment") and may be required to participate in an interview.
The Governor will then select final nominees and seek the advice and consent of the Pennsylvania State Senate.Applications and additional information can be found on the website of the Office of General Counsel, www.ogc.pa.gov.
