Our client, a publicly traded biotechnology company, is looking to hire one or more contracts/commercial  counsels for their expanding legal team.  Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of experience working in a major law firm or in-house legal department with an emphasis on contracting and commercial experience in the life sciences space.  Experience with drafting, negotiating and managing a high volume of commercial and pharma-related contracts (i.e., manufacturing, distribution, licensing, research collaboration, supply chain and pre-clinical agreements) is required. Familiarity with biotech is required, and exposure to synthetic biology is a plus.  Strong preference for candidates with backgrounds in the life sciences, with a B.S., M.S. or PH.D. in molecular biology, chemistry, pharmacology or related fields.
