Premier Boston firm Seeking 2-6th year associates with an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree. Responsibilities include assisting clients in evaluating Intellectual Property (IP) rights and advising clients in a wide range of business contexts, counseling clients on IP portfolio development, drafts and prosecutes patents, copyrights, and trademarks, and conducting IP audits. The transactional side of the intellectual property practice works with the corporate transactional group and assesses risks and opportunities associated with IP licensing, technology transfer, sponsored and collaborative research agreements, joint venture, strategic alliance, and similar matters. The intellectual property practice also works with the Litigation and Controversy Department in IP litigation matters at the trial and appellate levels.
