In-House Counsel

Glass Entertainment Group, a media and production company based in Bala Cynwyd, PA (a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is in search of full-time, in-house legal counsel. This candidate should have at least three to five years of legal experience as well as one year of entertainment law experience. This person will track and complete all contracts with networks, talent and clients. They will supervise all release materials and production contracts with third parties involved in our productions (this involves material rights releases, location releases, etc. that production requires). They will be involved in negotiations and working with our Business Affairs departments on all contractual matters for our clients.  They will also manage any lawsuits or disputes that arise in the course of business. Further, the in-house counsel will manage all corporate contracts and dealings (banking, real estate, etc.) and will work with our HR consultant on any dealings or issues that arise for company. Other legal requirements include network contracts, talent contracts, rights issues and reading scripts and/or watching cuts of our shows Errors & Omissions issues. This will involve interfacing with counterparts at all of our Network partners on a day to day basis. Within the company they will report to the Glass Entertainment’s executive team.
