DC area real estate development company seeks an experienced leasing counsel with 5-10 years of experience. MUST have significant experience in retail leasing, preferably from the landlord side. Additional experience in office and other commercial leasing experience is a plus. Will consider candidates who are currently with a law firm or in-house.
Leasing attorneys and other leasing professionals are part of a team where each Counsel is assigned a portfolio of properties and is responsible for the leasing work related to those properties. Must have experience negotiating and drafting leases (not just reviewing leases). Group is collaborative and experienced. Hours are regular with very little night or weekend work. Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment and be able to prioritize work that may be time sensitive.
Compensation is a base in the mid 100's plus a target bonus. Excellent benefits, good work/life balance and strong camaraderie within the team.
