Our client, a full service midsize law firm based in the southeast, has a practice group that handles a wide variety of plaintiffs’ class action law suits, including all types of consumer protection, fraud, antitrust, etc. This class action group is the most profitable group within the firm. Due to a significant increase in business, there is a need for an experienced class action lawyer (plaintiff or defense side), to run cases. Realistically, the client needs someone with at least 7 years of experience focusing on class action litigation. No business required.
 
Client prefers someone in CA or someone with the CA bar since a majority of these cases are filed in CA. This new hire will work from home but will have collaborative support within the group. Firm has been in existence for over 20 years and handles every type of conceivable consumer class action (except securities) against financial institutions, insurance companies, oil conglomerates, hospitals, universities and other entities. This firm does high quality work and has been co-counsel on numerous cases with one of our prestigious clients in DC .
 
 
Compensation will depend on experience and will include base plus multiple incentives. Excellent benefits and work/life balance. This firm has very little turnover and has attracted outstanding lawyers.
 
Title is negotiable. Portable business is welcome (and will factor into base comp) but is NOT required. The critical criteria are 1) deep experience in a variety of class action cases, 2) ability to run those cases from start to finish and 3) CA bar.
