Premier Long Island firm (Mineola) with 3 offices, is seeking a lateral Partner(s) and/or Of Counsel in the Labor & Employment practice.

Labor & Employment Practice
They represent practically all industries. Including but not limited to: healthcare, manufacturing, media, distribution, transportation, etc. Including the public and the private sectors. They also represent unions in many of the above industries.
 
Your role:
You will be regarded as a trusted advisor with relevant experience in transactional and litigation employment. This position requires knowledge of federal and state labor & employment laws (e.g., wage and hour, trade secret law, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and similar state laws).  
 
You will be handling employment litigation, including interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, drafting pleadings and various motions and briefs, conducting and defending depositions, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, and attending court appearances. 
 
Plus, you will be providing advice and counsel to employers/management on workplace law issues, including wage and hour, employee relations, mitigation of risk, discrimination, terminations, severance, reductions-in-force, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements, including executive employment agreements, and employment-related policies.

Salary is based on experience and size of the book of business. Min. book of business 250-300k.
