Regulatory Affairs Associate

Collectively, RiverSpring Health empowers over 18,000 patients, residents and members to live forward every day. ElderServe Health, Inc. is looking for a full time Regulatory Affairs Associate to join our dynamic team.
 
The Regulatory Affairs Associate will be responsible for handling the activities of the Regulatory Affairs Department, including activities related to contracts, compliance, surveys, audits, investigations, provider network and relations, and other regulatory compliance matters.
 
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree; a Juris Doctor (JD) is a must, and 2 years of related experience.
MS Office required. Competence in reviewing legal and commercial terms of agreements; Strong analytical skills to: investigate incidents and claims and recommend solutions regarding various situations; examine local, state and federal laws and regulations and other legal documents; handle complex transactions such as preparing data, reports and corporate documents;
Self-directed, detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work independently; talented in organization, follow-through and managing details;
Ability to independently create, compose and edit correspondence, reports, tables and legal memorandums;
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills; Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with external and internal stakeholders.
 This Associate will have the ability to review agreements, compare documents, organize materials, retain details, and track status of projects. They will also be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. In addition, the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
The role will have to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public. This role will read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and be able to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. As well as write responses and recommendations.
