Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, a not-for-profit organization providing assistance to attorneys, judges and law students, seeks an Executive Director. Responsibilities include administration and oversight of the Connecticut Lawyer Assistance Program, ensuring that intervention and assistance are provided to legal professionals in need of services; developing programs, raising public awareness, and maintaining statistics.Qualified candidates will have practiced law in Connecticut and/or have obtained a Masters' or equivalent in human services with five or more years' experience assessing and treating mental health conditions including addiction and documented experience in administration of a human services organization. Persons in active recovery from addiction with minimum seven years abstinence are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong personal ethics and dedication to service and to the legal profession. Salary is commensurate with experience ($80,000 for a qualified attorney or health care professional).
