Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation Paralegal

Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, a global law firm, is currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation Paralegal to be based in Cleveland, Ohio; Northern California; or Washington DC. The individual hired for this position will support our collaborative and congenial IP litigation team across the Firm’s global platform.Responsibilities
​Assignments are included but not limited to organizing and maintaining IP case files; assisting with legal research and fact investigations; drafting, proofreading, and cite checking a variety of legal documents; assisting with depositions and with trials in a variety of ways. The ideal candidate should be available for overtime and travel as needed.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate or equivalent work experience.
Job Requirements

At least 3 years of experience working on complex litigation matters in federal court
Experience in the USITC and PTAB is required
Good understanding of federal rules, local rules, and patent local rules
Ability to solve problems efficiently
Ability to work independently yet collaboratively with others
Excellent project management skills, organizational skills and prioritization skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Knowledge of litigation databases and other electronic litigation tools 
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel 
Excellent oral and written communication skills 
Ability to proofread and polish work product
Excellent interpersonal skills
Team player
