Immigration Attorney/Paralegal Needed for Contract Position - Charlotte
Legalpeople is staffing a long term immigration contract position for an international law firm. This position will last at least 4 months and will be remote for the foreseeable future. There is a chance this could also turn into a permanent position.
The firm would like to hire a contract attorney or highly experienced contract paralegal with at least 3 years of law firm immigration experience with the below experience:
Experience and knowledge requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visas and client processes
Drafting and filing H-1B, L-1, TN, E1/E2, E-3, P-1, O-1 and other non-immigrant Petitions.
Drafting and filing Immigrant/permanent resident processes filings, including PERM labor certifications, I-140 Petitions, Multinational manager, NIW, Outstanding Researcher, EB-2 & EB-3 employment/PERM-based, etc.; I-130 Petitions, and I-485 applications.
Experience drafting RFE and PERM Audit responses, and drafting/filing immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, including Outstanding Researcher and PERM.
Must have excellent legal writing skills.
Managing client relations - monitor/address email, phone and other queries.
I-9 knowledge and audit experience would be beneficial.
