MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE: LABOR & EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION

The Chicago office of Epstein Becker & Green is seeking an attorney to work at the level of a mid-level associate in its growing national management-side Employment, Labor and Workforce Management Practice.
 
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of relevant experience with federal and state labor & employment laws (e.g., trade secret law, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and similar state laws) and litigation experience in these areas.  The ideal candidate should have the ability to handle certain aspects of litigation with minimal supervision such as interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, drafting pleadings and various motions and briefs, conducting and defending depositions, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, and attending certain court appearances. Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, FINRA arbitrations, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies is also beneficial. Candidates must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
