General Counsel

The Santa Monica Rent Control Board is accepting applications for the position of General Counsel.  Applicants must be admitted to the California State Bar and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience (7 – 10 years preferred) in litigation including appellate practice and administrative writs of mandate, and experience advising public bodies in open and closed session meetings. Salary: $14,337 - $17,700 per month plus substantial benefits.
