The prosecution team for this highly respected patent group seeks to add an experienced Biotech Attorney or Patent Agent due to increasing client demand. The “right” hire for this role will be registered to appear before the USPTO and have a minimum of 3 years of patent prosecution experience after passing the patent bar.  A technical degree in biotechnology is required.  This new hire will reside in the firm’s Washington, DC office (when offices reopen); however, remote working may be a possibility. Qualified candidates from outside of the D.C. area are encouraged to apply.
This position is ideal for someone who wants a significant amount of autonomy over their day to day, while at the same time having the ability to work across the whole diverse team.  There is a real opportunity to advance to the partnership. Average annual billables are in the 1800-1900 range.
