Our client, a well-established Fortune 100 company, is seeking to hire an AGC Level Products Counsel to support their software business group.   The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of legal experience at a leading law firm or technology company, and  should have substantial experience with US and international laws pertaining to SaaS and data/privacy matters.  A CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) Certification and/or a technical background (with experience in software development or engineering) is highly desirable.
The hired attorney will be responsible for providing product counselling throughout the software development lifecycle on a range of issues (including data compliance, privacy, security, SaaS, artificial intelligence, IOT, industry standards, licensing and advertising) and will also drive regulatory compliance for the company’s software offerings and related business units.
