Legalpeople, a national legal staffing firm with locations in Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., is seeking a Senior Director to develop and lead the Legalpeople Contracts Management, Review and Analysis business.  The contracts management, review and analysis business offers solutions to law firms, corporate legal departments, financial institutions, and government entities that are faced with volumes of contracts that need to be analyzed for a variety of purposes or organized into a contracts lifecycle management (CLM) system.  Legalpeople teams will also be able to assist with more substantive requirements, from contract drafting through to renewal and termination.
The Senior Director is an attorney with significant experience in contracts intelligence and review, and is an expert in contracts lifecycle management, including utilizing AI and various technologies to organize contracts.  This individual will be the driving force and subject matter expert that leads the launch of this business line. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone entrepreneurial and driven who is interested in building a business within a business. 
The Senior Director will serve as an SME for this business unit when working with clients to craft solutions for contracts management projects. Additionally, the Senior Director will have ultimate responsibility and oversight for project and team management for this particular Contracts Management offering, partnering with Legalpeople recruiters to build project teams, including the development of team leads and supervisors. The Senior Director will consult and support strategic tasks such as workflow development, use of advanced technology, search terms, training materials and metrics analysis and reporting. The Senior Director will also be responsible for building partnerships with technology companies and conducting project design calls with clients, as well as kicking off each project.
Successful candidates will have substantial experience with project management and contracts review, including creating workflows for identification and collection of legal documents, processing and objective coding of documents, and subjective coding and analysis of documents.  The role of Senior Director is distinguished from a traditional eDiscovery review or project management role in that the desired candidate must have significant experience with contracts lifecycle management, as the Senior Director will be consulting and developing CLM solutions for clients.  Prior experience managing a team of legal professionals is required.  A track record of CLM, contracts review, contracts intelligence and contracts management experience must be clearly reflected in your work experience.
The location for this position is flexible, however, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. are preferred locations.
