Registered U.S. Patent Attorney, preferably with at least 2-4 years of patent preparation and prosecution and client counseling experience in a general practice law firm with an IP Group or an IP Boutique. Required candidate qualifications include:

• An advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Biochemistry or Immunology and additional studies in Organic Chemistry and comfort and familiarity with organic chemical matters.
• Registered to practice before the USPTO.
• Admitted to practice in NYS, or if admitted to practice in another state, willing to take steps to be further admitted in NYS.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented, excellent organization skills, ability to multi-task and work both independently and in a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Favorably considered additional candidate qualifications include:

• Experience in patent and due diligence analyses and performing searches.
