The Chicago office of Drinker Biddle & Reath is in search of An EE Patent Associate with 3 to 4 years of experience to work in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials and experience in drafting and prosecuting electrical and/or software related patent applications. Responsibilities would include drafting and prosecuting patent applications, working with clients to identify and evaluate potentially patentable inventions, support due diligence and litigation and licensing matters.Candidates must have a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, 2-3 years of related industry experience and/or significant academic coursework in the areas of wireless communications and/or network switching technology, and 3-4 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience with focus in the areas of wireless communications and/or network switching technology
