Kilpatrick Townsend's Silicon Valley office is seeking a Corporate Associate with 4-6 years of relevant corporate experience, particularly representing emerging growth technology companies through all stages of their life-cycle and serving as “outside general counsel,” including day-to-day counseling through direct interactions with senior management, negotiating and advising both issuers and investors with respect to venture capital financings and negotiating strategic transactions and acquisitions. In addition, the candidate should have experience supervising associates and paralegals and managing transactions from start-to finish.

The candidate must have a strong desire to be a direct contributor in a dynamic and collaborative working environment and to actively engage in helping to build a thriving corporate practice through internal and external business and career development efforts, including mentoring and training junior associates and developing relationships with key contributors to the Bay Area ecosystem. An energetic and creative problem-solver with superior interpersonal and client-management skills is required.
