Orrick is looking for a Junior Associate with one to three years experience in general Intellectual Property matters to join our Intellectual Property Practice Group in our Washington, DC office. The candidate must possess excellent writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information both orally and in writing. The Associate would have direct client contact shortly after joining Orrick so excellent interpersonal skills are a must. A BS in electrical engineering, physics, computer science or equivalent degree required.

Qualifications:

• A completed JD from an accredited law school required.
• Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, physics, computer science, or equivalent degree required; Graduate degree preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials required.
• Must possess excellent legal research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated and proactive.
