Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a seasoned associate (approximately classes 2009-2011) to join the Business Law Department, Transactional & Securities Practice Group in our Detroit office. Our ideal candidate will have very strong document drafting, negotiating and interpersonal skills, and will have significant experience in private equity; mergers and acquisitions; leveraged buyouts; equity investments; financings; and commercial contracting in a variety of industries including the automotive industry. We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, detail-oriented, outgoing, highly motivated Business Law Associate who is an effective communicator, seeks significant client contact, is willing to work hard and is capable of managing others effectively. Large law firm experience preferred. Top academics and experience required.
