The Chicago Office of Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an associate with 1 to 4 years of experience to join its preeminent Intellectual Property Department in the Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Technologies Practice Group. Our ideal candidate will be a class of 2010 to 2013 graduate of a top law school, holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, and have strong patent prosecution skills. The candidate preferably has experience with mechanical and electromechanical technologies and related software applications. Strong legal writing and research skills, top academics and law firm experience required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from a top tier, ABA-approved law school and must be an active member in good standing of the Bar of the state in which s/he is admitted to practice.
