Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an associate with 2-3 years of IP prosecution experience to join its pre-eminent, national IP Electronics Practice Group in Milwaukee. Our ideal candidate will be a 2011-2012 graduate of a top-tier law school, holding an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Patent prosecution skills required. The candidate preferably has experience with one or more of the following: Internet technologies, communications systems and networks, wireless systems, optical systems, and other technologies. Strong writing and communication skills are a must. To be considered, a candidate must have excellent academic credentials, hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school, and be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the state in which the candidate is admitted to practice. Active membership and good standing in the Wisconsin Bar preferred.
